Sterling Silver w/ Mushroom Bead

When I was a child I loved to make fabric jewelry. Most was colored hemp or cotton. I was going through my childhood fabric jewelry box and saw a bead I have used in other creations many moons ago. Wrapping this Mushroom Bead with Sterling Silver I was trying to create a diametrically opposed piece. Childish yet elegant, old yet new. I almost stopped making this because it seemed childish. Perhaps with the help of my old fabric jewelry box I will create some more pieces that are a "tip of the hat" to the younger years of my artistic creation.
